Caravan Hire made simple

How Caravan Hire Works with SquaredAway.UK

If you are looking for simple and stress free caravan hire in the UK, SquaredAway.UK makes the whole process easy. There is no towing, no complicated setup, and no previous experience needed. You just arrive and enjoy your break.

Our service is designed to give you all the benefits of a caravan holiday without the usual effort that comes with it.

1. Choose Your Caravan

Take a look through our range of caravans and choose the one that suits your plans. Whether it is a weekend away, a family trip, or attending an event, we have options to suit different needs.

2. Complete Our Enquiry Form

Fill in our enquiry form with your dates and requirements.

We will match you with a suitable caravan and reserve it for you, so you know exactly what is available for your trip.

3. Reserve for 72 Hours

Once we have aligned a caravan for you, we will hold it for 72 hours.

This gives you time to organise your trip, check campsite availability, and book your pitch without feeling rushed or risking losing the caravan you want.

4. Book Your Campsite Pitch

With your caravan reserved, you can then book your pitch directly with your chosen campsite.

We deliver to campsites across Wiltshire and the surrounding counties, including Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire. This makes us a great option for holidays, short breaks, and events in popular locations including the Barbury area.

5. We Deliver and Set Everything Up

This is where we really make things easy.

We tow the caravan to your campsite, position it on your pitch, and set everything* up so it is ready to use when you arrive.

There is no need for a towing licence, no equipment to worry about, and no setup to figure out.

*Bedding is not provided.

6. Arrive and Enjoy

When you arrive, your caravan will be ready and waiting for you.

We will show you how everything works so you feel comfortable straight away, even if it is your first time staying in a caravan.

7. We Collect It Too

At the end of your stay, simply pack up your belongings and leave the rest to us.

We will return, take everything down, and tow the caravan away for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is bedding provided?

No, bedding is not included as standard. However, bedding packs can be provided for an additional charge. Please let us know when booking if you would like this service.

Are towels provided?

No, towels are not provided. We recommend bringing your own bath towels and hand towels for your stay.

What should I pack?

We recommend bringing:

Towels

Toiletries

Clothing suitable for the weather

Something warm to wear when walking around the campsite, especially during cooler evenings

All of our caravans have their own shower and toilet facilities, but some guests also choose to use campsite amenities during their stay.

I've never used a caravan before. Will I know what to do?

Absolutely. Don't worry if you've never stayed in a caravan before or are unfamiliar with how everything works.

Where possible, we'll provide a full handover and demonstration, showing you how to use the heating, hot water, shower, toilet cassette, kitchen appliances and all of the caravan's other features. We'll make sure you're comfortable and confident before we leave, and you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions.

If you need any assistance during your stay, we're only a phone call away and will be happy to help.

Do I need to be there when my caravan is delivered?

Not necessarily. We often deliver and set up caravans before our customers arrive, ensuring everything is ready for your stay.

As we have multiple deliveries and collections to complete, we aren't always able to remain on site until you arrive. If you won't be there when the caravan is delivered, we'll agree in advance where the keys will be left or who they'll be left with.

If a face-to-face handover isn't possible, don't worry - we're always happy to talk you through the caravan over the phone and answer any questions you may have during your stay.

Is there heating in the caravan?

Yes, all of our caravans are equipped with heating to help keep you comfortable whatever the weather.

Does the caravan have its own shower and toilet?

Yes, all caravans have their own shower and toilet facilities onboard.

Is kitchen equipment provided?

Yes, caravans come equipped with essential kitchen equipment, including crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs may be permitted in selected caravans. Please contact us before booking so we can confirm availability and any additional conditions.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Our aim is to have your caravan delivered, set up and ready for your arrival, so you can start enjoying your stay as soon as you get there.

As we personally deliver and collect every caravan, delivery and collection times vary depending on location and our schedule. If you have a preferred arrival or departure time, please let us know when booking and we'll always do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Do I need to clean the caravan before leaving?

We ask that the caravan is left in a tidy condition, with all rubbish removed and personal belongings taken home. A full cleaning service is carried out between bookings.

The toilet cassette must be emptied before departure. Instructions are provided within the caravan and, if you are unsure how to do this, please ask before or during your stay and we will be happy to help.

Is smoking allowed in the caravan?

No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any of our caravans.

Do I need to bring toilet roll, washing-up liquid and cleaning products?

We recommend bringing your own supplies for the duration of your stay. If any starter items are provided, these should not be relied upon for the entirety of your booking.

Who is responsible for arranging access for delivery?

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery location is suitable and accessible for both the caravan and our tow vehicle.

This includes making sure there is sufficient space for us to safely manoeuvre and position the caravan, as well as ensuring the caravan will fit into the allocated space or pitch.

For festivals, events and private sites, you must arrange any necessary access permissions, vehicle passes, gate access or entry with the event organisers or site management before our arrival. If we are unable to gain access or deliver the caravan because suitable access has not been arranged, additional charges may apply for failed or delayed deliveries.

What if I won't be there when the caravan is delivered?

Where possible, we like to hand over the caravan to you in person. This allows us to show you how everything works, answer any questions and ensure you're happy before we leave.

If you are unable to be there at the agreed delivery time, or you are not expected to arrive until later in the evening, we may leave the keys in a secure location or with a responsible person, as agreed in advance.

To ensure we can provide a full handover, we ask that customers are available at a reasonable time on the day of delivery. Late evening arrivals may not allow enough time for a full demonstration, but we'll always do our best to accommodate you where possible.

What size pitch do I need?

For a typical 6-berth caravan with a full awning, we recommend a pitch of approximately 8 metres x 6 metres.

Please ensure there is sufficient space for:

The caravan

The awning (if required)

Safe manoeuvring during delivery and collection

Access around the caravan once it has been positioned

If you're booking a festival or event pitch, we recommend confirming the pitch dimensions with the organiser before booking your caravan. If you're unsure whether your pitch is suitable, please contact us and we'll be happy to advise.

Can I use the caravan without an electrical hook-up?

Yes. Our caravans can operate without an electrical hook-up, making them ideal for festivals, events and off-grid locations.

Without mains electricity, the caravan leisure battery and gas supply allow you to continue using many of the essential facilities, including:

Interior lighting

Water pump

Shower and toilet

Heating (gas)

Hot water (gas)

Fridge (gas)

Gas oven

Gas hob

USB charging points for mobile phones and other small USB devices

As there is no mains electricity, we provide a traditional stovetop kettle for use on the gas hob, so you can still enjoy a hot drink whenever you like.

Please note that the following will not work without a mains electrical hook-up:

Standard 230V plug sockets

Microwave

Electric kettle

Toaster and other mains-powered appliances

Hairdryers, straighteners and similar high-power electrical items

Television (unless specifically powered by 12V, where fitted)

As the caravan is running from a leisure battery, we ask that electricity is used sensibly to preserve battery life throughout your stay.
